This web site is an outstanding resource for material and information on all aspects of the family. Dr. Dobson was for 14 years an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Southern California School of Medicine. He also served for 17 years in the Attending Staff of Children's Hospital of Los Angeles in the Division of Child Development and Medical Genetics.   Promise Keepers has rapidly grown to be one of the most outstanding ministries in the country. He gives sound advice from a biblical perspective.     Alcohol/Drug Addiction: Teen Challenge has long been recognized as one of the most successful drug treatment programs anywhere. Many programs claim this for themselves but in the case of Teen Challenge this has been documented by studies done by both the United States Government and a university study by the University of Tennessee. Their success rate is even more remarkable when you consider that they evaluate success not just by freedom from drugs and alcohol but by gainful employment and even freedom from cigarettes. Colson believes that the prison system is basically flawed as far as being able to successfully rehabilitate inmates. Again, the success rate of PF speaks for itself.
