Carroll
Baptist has a variety of resources available for anyone who struggles
with any kind of addictive behavior. The Bible aptly calls this
bondage. This behavior may involve alcohol, drugs, sex, or other forms
of compulsive activity. The pastor is available for an in depth
biblical approach to these problems. Others in our church have been
through these struggles and are also available for encouragement and
support.

Teen Challenge
is the oldest, largest and most successful program of its kind in the world. Established in 1958 by David Wilkerson, Teen Challenge
has grown to more than 120 centers in the United States and 250 centers
world-wide. Teen Challenge offers a number of services to the
community, many times free of charge. For over 30 years, Teen Challenge
has been going into schools around the world working with teens to
educate them about the dangers of drugs. Our school teams consist of
8-10 Teen Challenge residents and a staff member. These are men and
women who once had problems with drugs, so they know what they are
talking about when they talk to teens. For younger children we have a
puppet show that we use to educate them in a way that they can easily
understand.

Living Hope
is an organization which provides support for men and women who desire
to experience change from a homosexual orientation. Some would like us
to believe that this is not possible but the experience of hundreds,
even thousands, of those who have experienced this change echo the
words of the man born blind in John 9:25. Living Hope is a referral ministry of Exodus
International. Carroll Baptist Church is one of a very few churches in
the entire metroplex which provides ongoing financial, spiritual and
personal support to this vital ministry.
